Angelina Jolie

Jolie got $15 million-plus for Universal's "Wanted," and might even get $20 million for a sequel. She earned $15 million-plus for her upcoming "Edwin A. Salt" for Sony -- and got a hefty backend. Sources say she has also gotten a bigger backend gross than any other actress. Her commercial prospects don't appear to have been hurt by weak or modest results for last year's "A Mighty Heart" and Universal's "Changeling."

Julia Roberts

After a long absence from the screen, Roberts hit the jackpot with Universal's "Duplicity," earning $15 million-plus for the thriller directed by Tony Gilroy.Image
Reese Witherspoon

Reese Witherspoon got around $14 million for her recent Warners comedy "Four Christmases," but wouldn't command anything like that for a drama following 2007's "Rendition."Image
Cameron Diaz

Cameron Diaz might have gotten as much as $15 million in the past, but those days are over. Still, she remains one of the highest-paid women, with around $10 million for May's "What Happens in Vegas" from Fox, a broad romantic comedy. She's making far less for her upcoming drama "My Sister's Keeper."Image
Katherine Heigl

Katherine Heigl, one of the few women on the rise, earned $6 million against 6% for Sony's "The Ugly Truth," due in April. She's also been raking in $225,000 per episode for ABC's "Grey's Anatomy."Image
Kate Hudson

Kate Hudson earned $7 million for Fox's "Bride Wars" and around that mark for Lionsgate's "My Best Friend's Girl," opposite Dane Cook.Image
Anne Hathaway

Hathaway got around $5 million for "Bride Wars," but after sensational reviews for the low-budget "Rachel Getting Married" from Sony Pictures Classics, she might now be asking as much as $8 million.Image
Jennifer Aniston

The former "Friends" star earned $8 million-plus for the Fox comedy "Marley & Me" and has been offered even more than that for Sony's "Bounty Hunter."
